Our March meeting was a very enjoyable affair.

It was great to see our new Worshipful Master, W Bro Andrew Eastwell, installed in the chair of King Solomon. The ceremony was impeccably carried out by the Installing Master, W Bro Peter Henley, in fine Petersham tradition.

The addresses to the Master, Wardens and Brethren were also given with great panache by W Bros Eric Eastwell, Paul Kerswell and Peter Jones but could you feel the emotion when Eric was speaking to his son Andrew. The Working Tools were also very will explained by Bro Storey, Bro Roberts and Bro Gordon respectively. The Festive Board was enjoyed by all and with 43 dining, made for a terrific atmosphere. As was mentioned in the meeting, W Bro Paul Kerswell has received a promotion to PPDepGReg for which he was congratulated. What we did not know at the time but found out subsequently was that W Bro Peter Henley has also been given a promotion, to PPGSwdB. On top of that, our Tyler, W Bro Chris Chandler, has also been promoted to PPSGD. Many congratulations to all three and lets hope for good support when they receive the promotions at the Provincial Meeting at Grand Lodge in June.
